Rother set up Housing Company to deliver high-quality homes for residents

On Monday 21st September 2020, members of the Alliance-led Rother District Council voted to accept the business plan for new housing company 'Alliance Homes (Rother) ltd.' with yearly monitoring.
The Company, set up by Rother District Council, will seek to accelerate the delivery of quality housing throughout the district, in addition to delivering homes built to the highest environmental standards, developing more affordable rented and socially rented housing, housing for ownership, targeted at first time buyers including younger families, unlocking stalled sites and assisting the Council in providing interim accommodation to help meet the Council's homelessness statutory duties.
